IRONWELD 316L Stainless TIG Welding Rods

IRONWELD 316L TIG Rods are manufactured from low carbon stainless steel to reduce carbide precipitation during welding. This improves corrosion resistance in the weld zone and helps prevent cracking making them ideal for critical stainless steel applications.

The addition of molybdenum enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion especially in harsh or chloride rich environments.

316L outperforms 304 and similar grades in corrosive environments thanks to its molybdenum content and low carbon chemistry. This results in improved weld integrity reduced risk of intergranular corrosion and longer service life.

For applications where failure is not an option 316L is the preferred choice.
